Booking Process

 

Our booking process is following a client enquiry via our website, email or in person, the client will be provided with a quote via email for their requested course. Any bookings requiring a purchase order will only be confirmed on TFD‑Training receiving a copy of the purchase order or the purchase order number.

 

Provisional bookings may be made by telephone or in person, but must be confirmed in writing (by email, letter or completing the enquiry form via the website, along with a copy of your purchase order if required) within 10 working days.

 

Any quotes will contain the various course details, including date, times and any other relevant information. Quotations and proposals will be valid for a period of 30 days from the date of production.

 

Before proceeding any further with the booking, clients are required to acknowledge receipt of and agree to the terms and conditions of the booking. Clients should note that places are not confirmed until a deposit has been paid and where courses are limited in spaces this will be on a first come first served basis.

 

Our preferred method of communication is via email.

Payment Terms

 

Our standard payment terms is for full payment being taken at the time of the booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

If payment by invoice has been agreed, full payment is due 14 days prior to the commencement of the course, unless you hold a corporate training account where payment terms will have already been agreed with your account manager or other terms have been agreed in writing.

 

We accept the following payment types:

·       Cash

·       Bank Transfer

·       Direct Debit

 

No certificates will be released unless all outstanding monies have been paid.

 

 

Late Payments

 

All invoices that remain unsettled after payment due dates will incur a charge of £40.00 compensation fee, unless other terms have been agreed in writing.

Invoices that remain unsettled after 30 days after a reminder has been sent will incur a 10% late fee on top of the fees mentioned above, unless other terms have been agreed in writing.

These terms are in line with the late payments of commercial debt regulations 2013.

Transfers & Cancellations

 

TFD-Training reserves the right to cancel or alter the dates or provision of service, the venue and the individual or organisation providing the service. In the event of cancellation, bookings will normally be transferred to the next available date unless the client specifically requests otherwise.

 

Significant effort goes into arranging course dates, tutors and other resources. Courses can only run subject to minimum numbers. However, should circumstances mean that you need to transfer, change the date of your course or cancel your course, the following charges will apply, dependant on the notice given by the client:

 

·       Cancelled or transferred more than 28 days prior to due delivery date shall receive 100% of the course fee as a refund if paid or if the course is transferred there will be no additional charges.

·       Cancelled or transferred between 7 – 28 days prior to due delivery date shall receive 50% of the course fee as a refund if paid or if the course is transferred you will be charged for additional expenses to TFD-Training if incurred.

·       Any courses cancelled between 0 – 7 days prior to due delivery date shall receive 0% of the course fee if paid and all invoices will be charged in full unless by prior agreement in writing.

·       Telephone cancellations can be accepted but must be confirmed immediately in writing (by post, email). Notice of cancellation will be taken as the date of receipt of written confirmation.

 

 

Non-Attendance

 

If you do not attend a course and you have not previously notified us, the full course fee remains payable.

 

 

 

Late arrivals / Missed sessions

 

If you arrive late for a course, or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.

 

To conform to Awarding Organisation requirements, the Awarding Organisation policies will apply.

 

 

Identification

 

To conform with Awarding Organisations, Employers or Clients requirements, delegates will be required to produce photographic identification to trainers and assessors, as required by Awarding Organisations, Employers or Clients such identification could include but not restricted to:

 

·       Driving Licence

·       Passport / Passport Card

·       Employer / Volunteer identification pass

·       Valid Student ID card

 

If proof of identification is not satisfactory the delegate will be removed from the course and in all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.

 

 

Unforeseen circumstances

 

On occasions, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a course. In such circumstances, you will be given as much notice as possible and either a free transfer to another course date or a full refund.
